FAMILY FIRST
We are a veteran family, owned and operated farm. Manuel and Joi moved their family (4 kids & some animals) from South Florida in November of 2020, after a late summer vacation to Blue Ridge. This was not an easy endeavor as they left 2 grown kids behind (happy to say they quickly followed & currently reside near by). The family had traveled to the area many times and fell in love with the breath taking views and friendly locals. Manuel is a USMC veteran, and retired UPS manager. Joi has a masters in education and taught middle school for over 15 years.

Meet Our Family...Manuel & Joi met in April of 1999 and have been inseparable since. The road to an amazing family is not without hiccups, but it is the love and perseverance that sets true love apart! Together balance is created... She is the dreamer and he is the do-er. They have worked to build this farm with love, sweat, and tears and want you to come out and enjoy the beauty and animals.

How we came to be...When we bought our farm over 3 years ago, we originally planned to just have a few animals and build a house. However, our love for animals has grown exponentially and so the idea of a petting farm was born. Today we are home to 100+ heads and always growing! We can't wait to share our animal friends with all of you!!

Our Goal
Our goal is to allow locals and visitors to experience a real operating farm in a day to day nature. The world is a busy place and the farm offers a quiet, relaxed atmosphere in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains. Animals offer a therapeutic element ~ whether by being a listening ear, an eager friend, or allowing people to kindly interact without judgement. We hope to allow people to see that animals have extraordinary personalities.
